“I have to make some big changes, I HAVE to” she insisted.
Sitting across the table at our local coffee shop, I could feel her desire and desperation pouring out.
I’ve been there.
My discomfort begging me to make hard choices that I wanted to put off, just another week or so. Or maybe after the party, the holidays, vacation, after things quieted down, or the groundhog sees his shadow. The excuses go on like a month of Januarys.
So I have one question, that I look across the table, or in the mirror, and ask.
What are you waiting for?

But if you make even one small decision that will improve your health, you will now be heading in the right direction.
Less processed food. Maybe start there. Less food from a box, a bag, or a drive-thru, is a powerfully good decision.
Then, start stacking those kind of decisions and become a new you.
You can do it. I know you can.
What are you waiting for?
So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Rom 12:1-2 MSG
He’s where the peace is,
I totally agree it's about making one good decision at a time. I've found that when I find success in the smallest change, it encourages the next small change. In time, those small changes lead to lasting habits that can make a big impact! Thank you so much for continuing to ask the important questions!
