Next Question...
Last week I asked you just one quick question:
What are you waiting for?
I hope you’ve taken some time to think about that.
This week I want to expand even more on that and ask:
What’s stopping you?
It might seem the same question, but it’s not. The list of things stopping us tends to be far longer than what we’re waiting for.
We see roadblocks everywhere.
“Most people end up being conformists; they adapt to prison life.
A few become reformers; they fight for better lighting, better ventilation.
Hardly anyone becomes a rebel, a revolutionary who breaks down the prison walls.
You can only be a revolutionary when you see the prison walls in the first place.”
~Anthony de Mello
Do you see the walls?
I think it’s time to be a revolutionary and break them down.
It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.
What’s stopping you?
